Chemical Properties
Item | Description |
| Water-soluble | It is highly soluble in water, and its solubility increases with rising water temperature. While it only swells in cold water, it can dissolve completely in hot water. |
Thermal Stability | It softens when heated, with no significant changes below 40°C. Prolonged heating above 160°C causes gradual coloration, while decomposition occurs above 220°C, producing water, acetic acid, acetaldehyde, and crotonaldehyde. |
Chemical Resistance | Highly resistant to weak acids, weak bases, and organic solvents; particularly excellent oil resistance. |
Storage Stability | It exhibits excellent stability, remaining mold-free, non-deteriorating, and non-hygroscopic under prolonged storage in natural dry conditions. |
